Admission Procedure

Regular Admission Procedure

  1. Admission Officer shall duly fill the Prospective Student Form for every walk-in and telephonic query while providing required information.
  2. Admissions office will provide the prospectus and application form and guide the applicants on how to fill the form and attach necessary documents. 
  3. All students who wish to apply for admission at the QU must submit a complete application form for admission along with required documents (checklist attached).
  4. Admission Officer will assign an applicant number to the form.
  5. Admission Officer will be responsible for the completion and verification of all the desired documents as per available checklist and deficiency found will be highlighted. 
  6. On receipt of duly complete Admission Form, designated member of admission team will issue Admission Offer Letter on the attached format (annexure-I).
  7. Admission Offer Letter will be counter signed by the Head of Admissions/ registrar.
  8. Student may opt to pay Admission Fee, Security Fee and Misc. On the basis of Admission Offer Letter and after adjusting the amount paid by the students in cash, Deputy Treasurer will issue the challan form for submission of fee in the bank. Challan form shall be countersigned by the treasurer.
  9. Students are required to submit the fee in bank before the fee deadline.
  10. For online submission of fee, student has to send copy of deposit slip to Treasury Department who will issue acknowledgement receipt to the student after confirmation from bank.
  11. After fee submission, Registrar Office will issue a registration number to student

Transfer Cases:

  1. Students from other universities who wish to transfer their credit hours are required to provide transcripts duly signed and stamped by competent authority to Admission Office along with application form
  2. Admission Office will forward the transfer cases to relevant departments for their recommendation and onward processing
  3. Admission Offer Letter will be issued by Admission Office on the attached format (annexure-II) in accordance with the recommendations of HoD.
  4. Admission Offer Letter will be counter signed by the Head of Admissions/ registrar.
  5. Student may opt to pay Admission Fee, Security Fee and Misc. Fee upfront in cash (Up to Rs. 35,000). 
  6. On the basis of Admission Offer Letter and after adjusting the amount paid by the students in cash, Deputy Treasurer will issue the challan form for submission of fee in the bank. Challan form shall be countersigned by the treasurer.
  7. Students are required to submit the fee in bank before the fee deadline.
  8. For online submission of fee, student has to send copy of deposit slip to Treasury Department who will issue a cash receipt to the student after confirmation from bank.
  9. After fee submission, Registrar Office will issue a registration number to student
