Dr. Ejaz Ahmed is working as a Dean and Professor, Faculty of Computer Science and
Information Technology (CS&IT) at Qarshi University Lahore. Prior to joining Qarshi
University, he was working as Associate Professor in National University of Computer &
Emerging Sciences, Islamabad Campus, and Assistant Professor in KFUPM Saudi Arabia. He
has extensive experience of Industry (IT, Enterprise, Manufacturing & Finance), worked in
Canada, UK and Saudi Arabia. His areas of research are Databases, Data Mining, Machine
Learning, Information Systems and Software Applications Architecture. His publications include
top high level international conferences, impact factor journals, industrial and research projects,
books, and teaching graduate and undergraduate computing courses. He has expert level
experience in developing, implementing many commercial software applications (ERP-Oracle/
SAP, Web) in enterprise domains of Financial & Taxation, Healthcare, Oil exploration and
Pharmaceutical. Recently, being IT Director/ Project Manager, he has developed the Student
Academic Record System, OBE for NUCES-FAST Islamabad.
