October 2, 2026: Scholarships for students, Fall Admissions, and Student Success in Focus
Qarshi University’s leadership met on October 02,2026 to shape the future of student learning. The weekly strategic meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar, reviewed admissions, inclusion and scholarships.
Attendees included Dr. Rashid Saif (Head ORIC and Chairperson, Department of Life Sciences), Dr. Muhammad Afzal (Chairperson, Department of Computer Sciences & IT), Prof. Dr. Ghulam Jilany Khan (Chairperson, Department of Pharmacy) Dr. Khaleeq Ahmed (Chairperson, Department of Eastern Medicine & Surgery), Dr. Rizwan Asif (Chairperson, Department of Allied Health Sciences), Dr. Farhat Abdullah (Chairperson, Department of Humanities) and Ms. Sidra Khadim (Principal, School of Nursing).
Admissions Update: Growing Interest Across Our Schools
The meeting opened with a review of admission statistics across the university’s faculties. Participants discussed Qarshi University’s programs: Bachelor’s degree programs in English, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Eastern Medicine, Allied Health Sciences (DPT, MLT, HND), Biotechnology and other subjects in Life Sciences, Clinical Psychology, and Management Sciences (BBA, BBIT, etc), ADP English, ADP CS, and ADP AI. The meeting also discussed diversity and inclusion in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The aim is a university that represents its diverse student body.

Qarshi University offers ten scholarship categories, so that talent is not limited by financial circumstances:

Scholarships apply to tuition fees only. Each has continuation criteria, typically a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in the semester system or 50% in the annual system.
