Introduction
The BS Clinical Psychology with Counselling program at Qarshi University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of clinical psychology with an emphasis on counselling. Our program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address social, emotional, mental, and behavioural disorders through prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Rooted in a strong foundation of theoretical knowledge and clinical experience, the curriculum is designed to prepare our students to become skilled professionals capable of meeting the growing demand for trained clinical psychologists. With the initiative to address the urgent need for mental health professionals nationwide, Qarshi University has introduced this unique program to provide students with world-class theoretical and clinical training.

Program Objectives
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Clinical Psychology with Counselling program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and practical skills relevant to clinical practice to enhance their:
- Understanding of psychological principles related to clinical psychology, including cognitive, behavioral, developmental, and social psychology.
- Ability to perform assessment and diagnosis by applying different techniques and following diagnostic criteria for psychological disorders
- Ethical and professional standards in clinical practice, including confidentiality, informed consent, and cultural competence.
- Knowledge of the psychopathology, symptomatology, and course of various psychological disorders across the lifespan
- Clinical practicum experience by applying theoretical knowledge and practical skills in real-world settings through supervised clinical practicum experiences, internships, or field placements.

45% marks in FA/F.Sc/A-level or equivalent
Program Structure
The degree requires a minimum of 132 credit hours of course work including a thesis of minimum 03 credit hours and an internship of 03 credit hours.
