Dr. Saba Iqbal is an academic and researcher specializing in Banking and Finance, Sustainable Finance, Financial Risk Management, FinTech, Islamic Banking and Finance, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Finance at Qarshi University, Lahore.

She holds a PhD in Banking and Finance under the HEC Indigenous Scholarship from the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, where she achieved a CGPA of 4.00/4.00. She also holds an MBA in Finance from FAST National University, Lahore, and a BBA (Hons.) in Finance with first position from the Institute of Management Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Her academic distinctions include the HEC Indigenous PhD Scholarship and First Position in BBA (Hons.) Finance.

With more than a decade of higher-education experience, Dr. Iqbal has taught diverse undergraduate and postgraduate courses of finance, banking, accounting, sustainability, and related areas. Her experience extends beyond classroom teaching to curriculum development, research supervision, accreditation-related activities, student placement, career development, alumni engagement and academic administration.

Her research focuses on the intersection of finance, banking, Accounting, financial technology, financial risk and financial performance. She has published peer-reviewed research in internationally recognized journals, including Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed outlets, and has applied advanced panel-data and econometric techniques in multi-country banking research.
