Dr. Ahmad Usman Zafar is working as an Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology at the Qarshi University, Lahore. He had 34 years Teaching & Research experience at Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), Punjab University, Lahore. He established state of the art functional labs for upstream and downstream processing of recombinant human proteins at CEMB. He had R&D training on Hormonal Studies at School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA; Laparoscopic embryo transfer at Malaysian Agriculture Research and Development Institute, (MARDI) K. L. Malaysia; Recombinant human biopharmaceuticals and Bioassays at International Centre of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGBE), Italy. Also visited as scientist exchange program for Biopesticide studies at Nanjing Agriculture University, Nanjing, China.
