Dr. Muhammad Naeem Ayyaz

Dr. Muhammad Naeem Ayyaz recently served as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Namal University, Mianwali, bringing extensive academic and administrative experience to his roles. His academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore, followed by an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the same institution. He further advanced his education with an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, USA. Over the years, Dr. Ayyaz has held prominent academic positions, including serving as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Electrical Engineering at UET Lahore, as well as holding a visiting faculty position at LUMS.

His research interests span across computer engineering, multiprocessor systems, and machine learning, and he has contributed significantly to high-impact international journals and conferences. As an administrator and project leader, Dr. Ayyaz has overseen major academic initiatives, including acting as the Director of the Center for System Simulation and Visual Analytics Research at UET Lahore. He has also directed the development of large-scale systems, such as an automated university management system and an OMR-based Entry Test Management system for UET admissions. His leadership and research endeavors, including managing significant grants like the Dengue-View project, reflect a strong commitment to technological innovation and academic excellence.
