Dr. Muhammad Umair Chishti is a Clinical Instructor at the Department of Physical Therapy, Qarshi University, Lahore, where he plays an active role in academic instruction, clinical supervision, and mentoring undergraduate students.

He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and specializing in the musculoskeletal disorder and post op rehabilitation. His research focused on includes musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and the application of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve functional outcomes. He is particularly interested in studying the relationship between physical activity, mental health, and behavioral factors, as well as advancing clinical decision-making through standardized outcome measures and data-driven rehabilitation approaches.
He is committed to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice by integrating evidence-based approaches into physiotherapy education and fostering critical thinking among future healthcare professionals.

Dr. Muhammad Umair Chishti is a dedicated and highly skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong background in musculoskeletal and rehabilitation sciences. Registered with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) (Pak), Ireland Health and Social Care Professionals Council CORU (Ireland), and the Pakistan Physical Therapy Association (PPTA), he brings both national and international professional recognition to his practice. With extensive clinical experience at Rasheed Hospital and Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore, Dr. Umair specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based management of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related conditions. His expertise includes advanced manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy modalities, functional rehabilitation, and the development of individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans to optimize patient recovery and long-term outcomes.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, he has contributed to research with published work in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. He has completed multiple certified short courses in areas including evidence-based practice, lumbar radiculopathy assessment, spasticity management in spinal cord injury, pelvic health physiotherapy, and sports injury rehabilitation, further strengthening his clinical expertise.

He is actively involved in clinical audits, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care standards. His professional interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, pain management, functional restoration, and promoting preventive physiotherapy strategies within the community.
