Dr. Rabbia Pervaiz is working an Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, at the Qarshi University Lahore. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab and has availed HEC IRSIP Fellowship at the University College London, UK. Prior to this, she has received her M.Phil. and B.Sc. (Hons.) degrees from CEMB and Forman Christian College University, respectively. Before joining Qarshi University, she has worked with the Forman Christian College as a Temporary Assistant Professor. Dr. Rabbia has been a Visiting Researcher at the National Institutes of Health, King Edward Medical University. She has authored publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Rabbia’s specific areas of research interest include biotechnological exploitation of green algal expression system, biocontrol agents, synthetic biology tools, recombinant proteins, in silico protein-protein interactions, Bacillus thuringiensis toxins, yeast expression system and biopharmaceuticals.
