Ms. Ezzah Khalid

Ezzah Khalid is an Applied Linguist and Lecturer in English at Qarshi University, Lahore, specializing in language, gender, power, discourse, and communication. She holds an MPhil in Applied Linguistics from Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, and a BS (Honours) in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Management and Technology, Lahore, where she received the Patron’s Gold Medal and Gold Medal for Excellence at the 21st Convocation.

Her research focuses on Feminist Critical Discourse Analysis (FCDA), examining gender, power, agency, and the representation of women in institutional, legal, media, and literary discourse, with a particular interest in South Asian contexts. She has authored two peer-reviewed journal articles, contributed in anthology of poetry and presented her research at multiple academic conferences.

As an educator, Ezzah has taught at Qarshi University, Superior University, and FAST-NUCES, in addition to serving as a Cambridge Instructor preparing learners for Cambridge Assessment English examinations. Her professional expertise extends beyond university teaching to curriculum design, academic writing, public speaking, debate coaching, teacher development, and communication training. She has conducted Workshops for Educator and delivered Communication Skills Training for business and finance professionals. She also completed a pedagogical course at the Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Continuing Education Centre, focusing on instructional design within the contemporary learning ecosystem. Bringing together research, teaching, communication, and creative practice, Ezzah is committed to making language education academically rigorous, professionally relevant, and socially meaningful.
