Ms. Javaria Sarwar is a Lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at Qarshi
University. She holds an MPhil in Microbiology from Government College University, Lahore. Before
joining academia, she worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Al-Razi Labs and Research Centre,
Lahore for two years and almost two years as a Pathology Technologist at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, where
she received multiple appreciation certificates for her dedication and professional excellence. Her
expertise includes clinical diagnostics, microbiology, and laboratory investigations, with research
focused on the reversal of antimicrobial resistance. She used plant extracts like Achyranthes aspera and
Callistemon citrinus in sepsis and meningitis patients for the reversal of antimicrobial resistance. With a
strong fervor for teaching, she strives to make learning engaging and accessible, fostering an
environment that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for discovery among her students.
